I purchased a new Shoaizome Hakama for training with the Jo. The last time I needed a Hakama was many years ago,purchased from a Martial Arts Store in Albuquerque New Mexico.. not much sizing just small and large. E-Bogu is an entirely different experience with very knowledgeable staff to ensure you purchase the correct size. My only suggestion for my purchase, would be for washing instructions, as I was not prepared for the dye turning everthing on and around me blur. The instructions I found on the internt, recommended washing prior to removing the pleat stiching. I am not to concerned too much as I believe that I can just refold it. Otherwise it fits great and I like the slightly heavier wieght. Thanks E-Bogu ! Eric Lindgren

5000 vs 10000

I am a customer who brought 10000 hakama last time. comparing 5000 and 10000, 5000 is much lighter and thinner. But 10000 is easier to keep folds. The e-bogu customer service said 5000 is better for practice, and now I understand.
