I've been studying aikido since January 1985, so this may be my 7th or 8th aikido dogi I've purchased. I tried on the new double weight HiDryTex aikido dogi this morning, and it seems to be almost exactly the same style, size and quality as the first one I purchased at my current dojo (Bushido Martial Arts) about 24 years ago (I wore that old one to aikido practice on Tuesday night this week, by the way). I also like the draw-straps pants much better than some elastic-waist pants I bought with my last dogi. The only thing I would have liked is 2 belt-loops on the front of the pants waist, rather than 1. My older similar pants have two loops, and it works better. Thank you very much for your excellent service!

Great Starter Set!	April 8, 2023

I received my bokken and HiDriTex Aikido Uniform that I purchased from E-BOGU faster than I expected with ground shipping and tried it on immediately. I am 6'2" (six-foot, two-inches) tall, and weigh a relatively compact 200 lbs (pounds) or 91.2 kg. For me, the material feels pretty durable, but relatively comfortable, but my wife who has practiced jujitsu and judo for many years says it is cheap and too big to her. It is definitely a thinner material, but the fabric feels strong. I won't be able to tell how it stands us to wear and tear until I go through a few uses, but the stitching and material are excellent to me, especially for the price.

After looking many places for a quality gi, this is it! I love the customer service, asking extra questions for more accurate sizing. The gi is soooo soft! I can’t wait to wear it at my next practice.
