This is a good quality hakama. It seems like good material and construction, and keeps its shape well. The only downside is the himo (straps for tying around the waist) are a bit shorter than with other hakama in my size. This makes it a bit hard to tie a bow after wrapping the long himo, and a bit hard to get enough wraps on the Butterfly knot in the front for it to stay secure. However, I need to lose a few pounds, which will probably help, and they're not short enough to keep me from tying them-- they're just not as long as I'd like. (I'm an Iaidoka, I don't know how Kendoka tie their himo, so your experience may vary.)
