I thought it would be a weak material but when I got the bag it surpassed my expectations and was very durable and easy to carry. For my first ever bag this was a good purchase, I am very happy with the quality.

Arrived last night on time.  Seems just fine.  A give for my son.

I like this bag a lot, and had the previous generation boston-style bag too. It's great because you can put your hakama in the front pocket and your keikogi in the main pocket on top of you bogu.

I'm very glad this version has fabric webbing for handles instead of the garbage fake leather from the old one (a cat chewed through mine). It seems they've also improved the build quality and greatly improved the attachment of the shoulder strap to the bag. The previous version bag had a cheap rivet attachment and tore off after a few years.

The only minor complaint I have about this new version is that I'd rather have 2 zip pockets on the sides instead of 1 large pocket on the back. That is, zip pockets where the water bottle holder is now and on the opposite side. They should be more tall and rectangular than squarish. It's a very minor preference, and obviously didn't prevent me from getting this bag. (Though I might consider the backpack style for my next bag.)

5 of 5 Fits a Large Bogu with room to spare June 23, 2011

The main compartment is well spaced. The bogu fits very well without having to crease anything. The front pocket could be a little deeper for the hakama and kendogi, but it is new and may need to stretch to the designed depth size. Always a pleasure to deal with e-bogu.
