This is a must for any kendoka. It is compact, concise, and has everything that a beginner and junior-level kendo practitioners want to and need to know. It is probably the most comprehensive and well organized reference book I've found. It's organized into several sections, including dictionary that includes graphics and appendices that describes parts of bogu, shinai, and other essential information. However, this is not a "how-to" instructional book.
