Good shinai September 1, 2022 Reviewer: Bryan Kao from Fremont, CA United States   A few test swings in, they are feeling good and solid. I ended up getting the dobari octagonal and 2 of the limited edition dobari/koto hybrid. They both feel well balanced and are comfortable in my hand. There are no obvious cracks or warps on initial oiling of the shafts. I will be putting them to use soon! Was this review helpful to you?

Buy2Get1 - Tokusen Madake - Bizen (fat grip) November 1, 2021 Reviewer: Rogers Gossett from Memphis, TN United States   After 25+ years of kendo, I finally realized that I prefer a fat grip shinai, and while this deal is probably great to try out different shinai, my order was for all 3 of the same -- the Bizen (30mm grip).  Ordering shinai in the blind is a bit daunting, but these 3 are absolutely great, with a weight and balance that are virtually indistinguishable from each other, with a very nice, light tip.  In my opinion, a great deal that works out to $40/ea..  I will definitely be ordering the same when the time comes.  Quick on delivery, as well!
