JUBAN was originally worn under the Kimono in Japan, because of the hot humid summers. Nowadays, Juban is also used as undergarment for Iaido and Kendo. Perfect for hot summers. It is made with a very light 100% Cotton fabric, with HiDriTex reinforcement in the shoulder section.
There is a slit at the armpit section for better ventilation.
An additional slit in the back section for easy wearing and Seiza.
The shoulder section of the Juban has the HiDriTex fabric which makes it more comfortable, by preventing the Juban to stick to your skin after a long practice.
