Beautiful and solid bokken |

The Kanasuji pattern and light matte varnish make this bokken lovely to behold. Mine weighed in at around 550 grams (582 grams including the tsuba and dome), which is a normal weight for an oak bokken, and the grain orientation would lead me to believe that this bokken would hold up well to normal kumitachi use.
Update: I've been using using this bokken since April 2024 (it's Jan 6th, 2025 as of this writing) and in those months I've grown to appreciate this bokken even more... it has such a perfect balance, it truly feels swordlike when swinging it, and it makes a beautiful tachikaze to boot.
