The products arrived in a timely manner, and come at a great price point. The groove bokken is beautiful and I'd rate it 5 stars. The minimal coating of vanish, on the bokken, is nice, as it doesn't get too tacky once your hands start to sweat. The groove is nice, and gives more audible feedback, helping ensure that your cutting angles are correct. The light weight, is nice for starting off, and practicing your cuts repetitively. Due to limited availability, the short bokken doesn't match the color of the groove bokken. The staff was courteous, and contacted me prior shipping, to determine if that was okay, and they offered me several options. The short bokken, doesn't have the same attention to detail, as the groove bokken. The varnish coating feels a bit tacky and wasn't buffed as well, as the other. All in all, I highly recommend this set. E-bogu itself, offers great products, customer service, and in comparison to other retailers, they tend to be providing them, at a lower price.
