The head guard fits very well and seems very capable of protecting the head.  I practice some light sparring with my teacher as he teaches me applications for tai chi sword and saber forms.  I wanted head gear just in case...and this is perfect. Light-weight. Comfortable to wear.  Sturdy.  The sizing chart was accurate.
