Excellent quality hakama |

As usual, the product value, shopping experience and timely shipping were excellent from e-bogu. I was looking for a heavy-weight hakama after wearing a tetron hakama (also from e-bogu) for 2 1/2 years (which is still in good condition). This hakama has been through 2 vinegar soaks, and the dye is fairly well set. It still bleeds a little, which is expected from the Shoaizome process, but it washed right out of my gi. The koshita is very thick and stiff, which is a good reminder for posture. As is often the case, the front (long) himo are not as long as some other makes of hakama. I simply adapted my tying method, but I would recommend himo extensions, regardless of waist size.
Overall a very high-quality traditional hakama.
