This supporter is taller than most that you can get at the drugstore, and made of stouter material. I had to take a total guess on the sizing since the definitions of M, L, XL made no sense to me. So, I ordered an L. I wear size 11 US shoes, and this supporter fits just fine. You do want them tight but not cutting off circulation, and this works for me. Given that, you can use your own judgement for yourself. I think this is a good product and I'm glad I got it.
